About me

My first freelance mission

I started my career in 2021 on a project that had all the ingredients for failure. The product owner had changed three times in one year. An understaffed team of three people, then 7 hires in one month in a hurry.

The project: a complete rewrite of a critical Java financial software to a Python/TypeScript/PostgreSQL web platform.

I managed with my only academic knowledge to build a high-performance and scalable backend, producing the same results as the legacy system, in close collaboration with my colleagues.

The project was successfully completed despite all the risks involved in creating a team and rewriting a project. The final product exceeded initial expectations. One of the KPIs, the number of incidents, was reduced from one per week to just one in two years!
